In short, many folks thought Trey would not be able to lose the weight and compete at the 2008 Jr. Nationals. On the contrary, after 16 weeks of dieting, Trey's metabolism kicked into over drive and Daniel did everything he could do to keep Trey from losing too much weight.

Martinez Signs Olympia Contract
martinez-olymping-going.gif Victor Martinez is competing in the 2008 Mr. Olympia on September 27-28 at the Orleans Arena. In case you've been living under a rock, Vic was sidelined after he tore his left patellar tendon in mid-January. Vic was doing a set of warm-up lunges when he felt something snapped, rolled on the ground like a girl, and couldn't stand up.

NY Pro 2008 Results

kai-green-2008nypro.jpg It was no surprise to see Kai Green take the overall prize. Touted as a possible Crowned Olympia there should have been no excuse for Kai had he lost. His signature striated quads with the added mass separated the Men from the Boys.

As loosely quoted by Flex Wheeler, "Dan Salomon has Kai in 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place!"

Lee Priest is Back!

lee.priest.isback.jpgIf you don't know the significance of Lee Priest's departure from Muscular Development and the IFBB, then youhave either been living under a rock or just fell off the turnip truck. Coming off a near two year suspension, Lee Priest is back!

Lee Priest left the IFBB to compete in the ill-fated PDI. Lee did very well, but as the show's fizzled, so did Lee's chances of continued fyscal success. Lee petititioned to re-join the IFBB, he was told yes, Lee told them to 'Wank Off' and the rest is the saga we live today.

Yaxeni Oriquen Wins Ms. International

Yaxeni Oriquen Wins Ms. International Well, as stated an hour before the end of the Ms. International Bodybuilding Show, Yaxeni was given the nod for first place. She was clearly in the best shape of her life, with hamstrings that had the audience gasping in amazement.

I have NEVER seen so many women off their peak at any one show.
