The untimely passing of an IFBB Pro...
It is with great sadness that I make this post. Earlier today, IFBB Pro and Masters Mr. Olympia Champion, Don Youngblood, was found deceased in his home.
I can't really give the details yet as the family wants to wait for the autopsy reports until the "specific" cause is determined. As of right now there are a lot of sketchy details.
Please take a moment to think of Don and pray for his family.
Kim, Dominic and I want to send our love and prayers to his wife, Sue and his kids as this is an extremely sad and tough time.
I will keep everyone posted on this and let everyone know when funeral arrangements are made and where they can send flowers/cards.

I remember people talking about how Don had done so well in structuring his life around what was important--family first, then career, then bodybuilding. From what little I knew about the man, he seemed to be remarkably successful across the board.
My condolences go out to his family.

Sorry to report that DON YOUNGBLOOD has passed away in his home, apparently the cause of death being a massive heart attack.
Don stunned the bodybuilding world by beating the previously "unbeatable" Vince Taylor at the 2002 Masters O. *Don went on to forfill his lifelong dream of competing in that years Mr. Olympia later that same year.
Don just celebrated his 51st birthday April 7, and ran a very successful trucking business in his home state of Arkansas with his wife and children.
On behalf of all the IFBB pros, I wish to express our deepest sympathies to the Youngblood family. Don was a champion bodybuilder, but more importantly a devoted husband, father and grandfather...he will be missed.

Very sorry to hear about that. At least he went out on top as a Masters Olympia. He'll be greatly missed. He was a great guy and ambassador to the sport

i am at such a big loss of words right now. I was really lookng forward to seeing his contest photos for his next competition.
