hi all,

over the past few years don and i corresponded fairly regularly via email.

i learned that he was a very honest, straight-forward christian man very devoted to his family. he was always so kind and interested. he was a great baseball fan and loved to see pics of me and the kids at yankee stadium.

he was a stand-out bodybuilder, but even a much better person. he knew what was important in life.

I am very sorry to hear this as well. Don and I also emailed each other a few times and he was very nice and a true champion. The bodybuilding world has truly lost a great man.

DON WAS A DEAR FRIEND OF MINE...AND A SECOND FATHER TO MY CHILDREN AND LOVING BEST FRIEND TO MY HUSBAND...HE WILL BE MISSED TERRIBLY......HIS FAMILY IS DOING AS WELL AS CAN BE EXPECTED.
HE DID DIE OF A MASSIVE HEARTATTACHE...BUT THEY THINK IT HAPPENED IN HIS SLEEP,,THEREFORE GOING PEACEFULLY......
I WILL REMEMBER DON ALWAYS AS A GREAT CHAMPION, A MENTOR TO ME AND MY HUSBAND,,AND A TRUE FRIEND..WHO WOULD GIVE YOU THE SHIRT OFF HIS BACK, IF YOU NEEDED IT..
